Hey guys! With all the carols we hear and the Christmas decorations we see everyday, needless to say that the Holiday Season is officially in full swing. It's that time of year when we can finally have the excuse to splurge a little. Having said that, I come to you with a review on one of the items I've been dreaming of having, the MAC Lightful C Tinted Cream.
MAC Lightful C is a product line designed to achieve brighter and more radiant skin. One of their best sellers is the Lightful C Tinted Cream, a color correcting cream which comes in a beautifully crafted, holographic 40 ml tube with a screw-on cap.
The packaging looks and feels luxurious. The material is firm and solid so it needs a good squeeze before the product comes out. I love that the contents are safely sealed and that the tube's spout is just the right size to dispense your desired amount.
I can't seem to describe it but this tinted cream has a subtle scent that's non-irritating and goes off almost instantly on application. The cream comes out thick that it made a 2nd layer when I tried to squeeze out more.
Despite its thick consistency, the MAC Lightful Tinted Cream blends easily and melts like a dream. This cream is best applied with your finger tips in a patting motion so no need to use fancy tools.
Wearing this cream instantly boosts skin radiance making it appear healthy and dewy without looking shiny. It comes in nine shades and if you get the right one, expect this product to improve your skin's natural glow. I was assisted by a MAC makeup artist and she suggested the shade in medium which I believe is my skin's perfect match. It also offers light coverage which can hide minor blemishes so you still need to use concealer for a more polished finish. It lasts for five hours tops then starts to wear off but still manages to keep a decent amount of coverage. I love how a simple powder touch-up in the middle of the day can extend wearability. I love that it also provides protection against harmful rays of the sun with its SPF 30 and PA+++.
Overall, I am head over heels about the MAC Lightful C Tinted Cream that I'm definitely repurchasing when it runs out. I do recommend it to everyone who wants an instant skin radiance boost every single day. The only downside is the hefty price (Php 2,100) but expect this to last long because it only takes a small amount to cover your face and neck.
