Hey guys! The rainy season has indeed marched in with 2 consecutive typhoons that rocked us the entire week. The weather sort of got me sick hence forced me to take a few days off and rest. Although I felt really bad coughing the entire time, I did enjoy that fraction of freedom from this stressful world. Anyway, I also thought of making a blog entry just to make my unexpected vacation a little productive. Good thing I haven't reviewed my all time favorite scent, a classic that never goes out of style, the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray.

YSA: Post Acne Lotion

Hey guys! I've been having bad skin days with pimples breaking out from all over my face and I really can't tell what's causing it. I was looking over the products I'm currently using but not one is new to my rotation. I eventually concluded that it's not the result of what I'm using but it's actually what I've missed using in the past weeks. If you've read my old posts about my skin care regimen, you wouldn't be surprised to know that I've been using the same pimple treatment from my dermatologist since college days! It's quite unbelievable that I didn't develop some sort of tolerance to any of Dr. Lopez-Nazal's products particularly the Post Acne Lotion which I've been using for over a decade nonstop until I ran out about 2 weeks ago. 

Big Girl Pencils

Hey guys! I can't believe it's midyear already and it's back to school for most of us. I was actually in a bookstore the other day and found myself reminiscing the times I spent hours shopping for school stuff. I never thought I'd still be thrilled about pencils at my age but this time I'm talking about a different kind.. The kind every girl needs to have in her makeup stash. Cosmetic pencils have always intimidated me simply because I'm afraid I'd mess up. So imagine my delight when I finally plunged in and realized they're not too bad after all. The top three pencils in my stash are (in order of discovery) The Body Shop Eye Definer Pencil, Nichido Lip Pencil and Nature Republic By Flower Wood Eyebrow Pencil.

ST. IVES: Fresh Hydration Lotion

Hey guys! A little over a year ago, I saw the Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer during the annual S&R sale. I was so close to buying one but I decided to skip it instead due to the pricey tag. Since then I've been looking for a cheaper substitute but never got to find one until last week when I finally saw the St. Ives Fresh Hydration Lotion. 

PURE DERM: Collagen Eye Zone Mask

Hey guys! I had another trip to Watsons a few weeks back and got myself a few items to try. Of all the things I bought, only one got me so curious I had to use it immediately and I never missed a day without it, the Purederm Collagen Eye Zone Mask. The masks were contained in a resealable air-tight container but since I didn't want to risk drying them out, I placed the entire pack in a small zip-lock. Not that they cost a fortune, they're actually pretty cheap at Php 89.75 per pack, I just wanted to use every single sheet as if freshly opened.

Hey guys! If you read my last post, you'd know that I recently picked up a few things from Nature Republic. I wasn't suppose to get more than a couple of items but their affordable price made it almost impossible for me to get out of the store empty-handed. Since I've used up my YSA Post-Acne Lotion as well as my Kiehl's Acne Blemish Control Daily Skin-Clearing Treatment, I haven't been using any product to prevent and fight pimples for almost a month now.

Hey guys! I recently visited Nature Republic in SM North Edsa to get a makeup item which a friend swears by, the By Flower Wood Eyebrow Pencil. I got to try it for the first time a few days ago and I couldn't let another day pass before I get my hands on one. Well, you know what happens when you plan to buy a particular item and you're surrounded with other awesome products that are insanely affordable? Yes, you tend to buy more.. in my case, 6 more.
