Hey guys! A month ago I had the luxury of time to declog my closet and found more than a few items I haven't used. One of the things I overlooked was a scent I haven't heard of from Victoria's Secret, Aqua Kiss which eventually became one of my favorites. 

Victoria's Secret Aqua Kiss Fragrance Mist $12 / 250ml  (500 + Php)

I got this as a gift from my aunt who's based in Virginia but it retails for $12 in their official website. It comes in a generous 250ml bottle which I think will last me a long time. I love the freshness it exudes with a hint of floral scent from freesia and daisy. As expected from a mist, it only stays on for a couple of hours which I think is okay since I love spraying it on every chance I get. Bottom line is, Aqua Kiss fits those who love to smell fresh and clean without the overpowering floral scent.

A Trip Down Memory Lane with Victoria's Secret

Some people are reminded of their past when listening to old hits like Macarena (hmmm.. interesting choice of song!) while others remember their childhood when seeing old movies like Ghost and Titanic. In my case, I was brought down memory lane with a certain scent, Victoria's Secret Endless Love.

These are Victoria's Secret gift sets from our loving relatives in Virginia. A few days before, my friend and I were actually talking about how lucky we are that we don't need to buy our own perfumes because our loved ones never fail to include them as pasalubong every time they visit.

This gift set includes a pair of body butters, fragrance mists and body lotions in Love Spell and Pure Seduction. The combination screams of femininity. Both exude a sweet, flowery scent that's not over powering. 

Now this set contains the scent which brought back memories of my junior internship. I used Endless Love body cream back then and got compliments from the divine scent. Several years after, I got hold of the body mist and lotion but I was quite surprised they didn't smell as pleasant as the body cream. I don't mean to be rude, but they honestly remind me so much of a generic car freshener. Anyway, I still think that this gift set is great though I love the other one better. Inside are fragrance mists and body lotions in Secret Charm, Sheer Love and Endless Love.

I love that these are in travel friendly sizes and that you get to try more than one scent. The packaging is very elegant and you can just pop a ribbon on top and give them as gifts to your friends. The only problem with these is you can't choose which products will go together since they're already packed in sets. But I think that's the beauty of gift sets, you get to try other things you wouldn't normally buy and sometimes you end up with an accidental good buy.

VICTORIA'S SECRET: Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

Glosses are a girl's best friend. 

It can solely liven up a simple everyday look or provide that much needed umph to compliment your makeup. This is why I don't mind having a variety of glosses in my stash including Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss in cupcake and cherry bomb.

I love the squeeze type tube applicator because it gives you full control over the amount of product you wish to dispense. The transparent tube also gives you an idea when to replace or repurchase your gloss while the soft flexible tube allows you to really empty the contents hence you get to save more.

The gloss glides smoothly and effortlessly on your lips. Though it feels really sticky, I find this gloss more long wearing than other brands. Aside from the glossy look, this lippie has specks of pink glitters that make your lips stand out. It seems to seal your lip color when used on top of a favorite lipstick or lip stain. 

Notice how the color turns very sheer when applied? 

I haven't opened the cherry bomb so I just have the swatch for cupcake.

If you don't mind using sheer glosses that feel sticky and look really shiny, this will surely satisfy your taste. Overall, I like these glosses but I won't be repurchasing these in the future. I plan to try out glosses from other manufacturers instead.
