Hey guys! I can't believe we're almost halfway through the year 2015. Next thing you know, we're just an arm's length away from Christmas which is great because I love how cosmetic companies come up with holiday collections. Well, good thing we won't have to wait until December to feast on something new from Heroine Make because they just launched their latest product.
I was lucky enough to witness the launch in an intimate event spearheaded by Mandom Philippines Corporation, the official distributor of Heroine Make in our country.
I made sure to get to the venue on time so I can take a nice look around and acquaint myself to Heroine Make products. To my surprise, a number of people were already there. While waiting for the program to start, I took the liberty of taking pictures, lots of them to be exact.
Here's an overview of all the products by Heroine Make alongside other brands. Notice how they're arranged similarly with beauty counters in local stores? This is actually a mock setup of how different products are arranged on the shelves.
The beautiful Mica Javier (R) started the ball rolling by introducing Heroine Make's official Make-up Artist and Beauty Counselor from Japan, Miss Sayuri Igarashi (L).
We were told that Miss Igarashi has been perfecting her craft as a make-up artist for more than 25 years and has been to several other Asian countries promoting Kiss Me Heroine Make. This time, she graced us with her presence to introduce Heroine Make's latest addition to their growing make-up line, the Jewelry Eye Color.
The Kiss Me Heroine Make Jewelry Eye Color comes in 4 variants. Top left is 01 Yellow Sapphire, next to it is 02 Beige Gold, bottom left is 03 Pink Amethyst and to its right is 04 Rose Garnet. These may look like the typical quads you see from other brands but they're not. Each quad comes with a primer so you won't have to reach for a separate product when using any of these to complete your look.
The highlight of the program commenced when Miss Igarashi did a make-up demo featuring the Jewelry Eye Color on two blogger attendees. First tutorial was on how to achieve a natural look which you can wear to work or school everyday.
Next thing she did was demonstrate how to do a more dramatic look which you can wear on special occasions. I love how she manipulates every make-up tool with ease and confidence yet remains humble saying we all can do a great job with consistent practice.
These were the products used during the demo. Since Heroine Make has no make-up remover, blush and lipstick, Miss Igarashi used other Japanese brands like the Bifesta cleansing lotion, Pixy blush and lipstick.
After the tutorials, Heroine Make generously offered a spread of Japanese goodness from Sumo Sam. The buffet included sushi, maki, sashimi, tonkatsu and a bunch of others but I have to say that the chicken tempura won me over.
After the program, Miss Igarashi was kind enough to mingle with everyone and even offered to do our make-up. Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, Miss Ana of Mandom Philippines Corp., started handing out paper bags filled with Heroine Make goodies. Products included are seen in the next images.
