Hey guys! When it comes to makeup tools, I usually stick to what works for me and not buy another brand until the one I'm currently using gets busted or lost. I've been using my Shu Uemura eyelash curler for 3 years before the silicone lash pad was split in two and since it came with a replacement pad, I'm looking forward to the next 3 years before I let it go. Don't get me wrong, I love to try different brands but I usually allocate my budget according to my immediate need. This is why I totally appreciate being given stuff I've lined up in my head to try next. A good friend recently travelled to Japan and gave me the Shiseido eyelash curler as a gift.

Have you ever wanted something so much but refuse to get because of the seemingly "insane" price tag? That's exactly what I felt about buying a Beauty Blender. Despite all the praises I hear about this much sought after sponge, I still can't bring myself to shell out a thousand pesos for it. I mean, what can an egg shaped sponge do that a regular one can't? Although the Beauty Blender hype has somehow reached its plateau and countless affordable dupes have emerged, the urge to satisfy my curiosity about this much talked about beauty tool still remains. So when asked what I wanted to get for our annual Kris Kringle last December 2014, I opted for a Beauty Blender. 

KIEHL'S: Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream

Hey guys! The summer heat has gotten really intense that even the thought of staying outdoors can be exhausting. What's a girl to do to stay fresh all the time? Well, keeping yourself sufficiently hydrated is a no-brainer but it's definitely on top of my list. Pump up hydration a little by also using skin care products that can help keep you fresh and cool. I prefer using a gel moisturizer during hot days and my current favorite is Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream.
